‘Jhon Arias set for Premier League deal’ after source’s Crystal Palace reveal
Fluminense are bracing for offers for star forward Jhon Arias in the summer transfer window amid interest from Crystal Palace.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson tipped the 27-year-old as one to watch as he is set to be touted around a number of Premier League clubs.
The forward has impressed suitors at the Club World Cup after scoring one goal and providing one assist in four games so far, leading his side to the quarter-final.
Football Insider exclusively revealed in December that Crystal Palace have an active interest in Arias and had considered a move in January.
Scouts from the South London club have been keeping tabs on his progress after he has long been linked with a move from Brazil to the Premier League.
The Eagles are in the market for a versatile forward to bolster Oliver Glasner‘s squad and have cast a wide net following their FA Cup success.

Crystal Palace could reignite Jhon Arias interest
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider in May that Crystal Palace are planning to spend big to back Glasner ahead of their European participation.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are preparing for the departure of Eberechi Eze who has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal or Tottenham this summer.
Robinson explained that Arias’ “outstanding” performances at the Club World Cup are set to reignite Premier League interest after the tournament finishes.
“Al-Hilal have got a difficult quarter-final against Fluminense,” he told Football Insider.
“The South American team have done very well at the Club World Cup.
“Talking about big players, they’ve got a big player in Jhon Arias who will be looked at in the Premier League.
“He’s been outstanding in this tournament.
“He will be a player who is touted around Premier League clubs before long.”

Eberechi Eze update emerges after Tottenham latest
While Palace continue to plan for an ambitious future under Glasner, they remain at risk of losing key players including Eze and Marc Guehi.
Football Insider revealed on 3 July that Palace have dealt Tottenham a blow in their pursuit of Eze as they plan to hold out for his £68million release clause.
Spurs had hoped to reach an agreement for a lower fee, but the Eagles are determined to get maximum value for the FA Cup winning goal scorer this summer.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider in May that Tottenham plan to hold talks with Eze’s agent about a move as he is among their top attacking targets.
