‘Jhon Duran would jump at joining Arsenal’ after £50m bid submitted – fans wowed

Arsenal supporters believe that the club needs to try to sign Aston Villa forward Jhon Duan this January after Mikel Arteta provided an update on Gabriel Jesus’ injury.

The Brazil international had to be stretchered off on Sunday (12 January) after a collision with Man United’s Bruno Fernandes, and his long-term future is unclear.

During his latest pre-match press conference Arteta said, “We are actively looking in the market to improve the squad, we are on it.

“Unfortunately, Gabriel Jesus’ injury is not looking good, we are very worried, waiting for the final report.”

Sky Sports revealed that the Arsenal forward has suffered a suspected ACL injury, which could lead to the 27-year-old being sent for a long stint on the sidelines.

Football Insider revealed that the Gunners have identified Alexander Isak as a priority target for the summer transfer window, but the supporters want the club to act now.

Arsenal fans believe Jhon Duran would be a good fit

Duran is under contract at Villa Park until 2030 but has caught the attention of several teams after scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances this season in all competitions.

Football Insider revealed that Villa are increasingly tempted into letting the 21-year-old leave this month due to concerns surrounding his attitude, which could open the door for Arteta’s side.

West Ham have already had a club-record £50million offer for Duran rejected by Villa.
