Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink: This was such a shrewd Celtic transfer
By Will Butcher
Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink believes Moussa Dembele will only become world class if he leaves Scottish champions Celtic.
Dembele, 20, has seen his stock rapidly rise since moving to Glasgow from Championship outfit Fulham in the summer, scoring nine goals in his last four outings for the Bhoys.
Former Chelsea and Leeds striker Hasselbaink compared the France Under-21’s international to Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane on Sky Sports Premier League Daily Show on Tuesday, before stating that he must leave to become world class.
“He will have to move [to be considered a world class player],” Hasselbaink said. “I think he is a bracket below Lukaku and Kane at the moment, but he has the potential.
“I think his agents have done a shrewd job to send him to Celtic and wait for the bigger move. To go to a bigger club after feeling that net over and over again is a good move.”

Dembele has now moved on to a huge 29 goals for the season in his 42 league and cup encounters and is well on the way to matching Leigh Griffith’s 40 strikes last year.
Keeping Griffiths out of the side, Dembele has even starred on a European stage after scoring a brace against Manchester City as well as finding the back of the net against Gladbach.
Dembele is already reportedly interesting plenty of potential suitors ahead of the January transfer market.
Dembele is expected to lead the line for the 43rd time in his short Celtic career on Wednesday, as the Bhoys travel to face Inverness.
