Joe Rodon expected to leave Leeds United for good after latest – Fans react
Leeds United fans are expecting Joe Rodon to leave for good following the end of his loan spell after they failed in their bid for promotion.
After a 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the playoff final, Leeds fans are expecting to lose several first-team stars, with a return for Rodon, 26, after his loan from Spurs looking more unlikely.
Given the standard of the centre-back’s performances in the Championship this season, many expect Premier League outfits to be monitoring his progress ahead of a possible deal.
This comes after, former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Rodon would leave Tottenham permanently this summer and would not be integrated back into the team.
The Welsh centre-back joined on loan last summer and has been a mainstay in Daniel Farke’s team.
Leeds United fans expect Joe Rodon exit already
Football Insider revealed on 5 May that Leeds will face massive financial issues this summer, with a reported £190million owed in outstanding transfer fees, so any incomings are likely to be pushed back.
Rodon had been tipped to make the permanent move to Elland Road if they were promoted this summer, but fans now think he is already gone.
In other news, fans have called for Daniel Farke to be sacked.
