Joelinton, Anthony Gordon respond to Newcastle’s Tino Livramento announcement
Newcastle United stars responded to the latest Newcastle United message to Tino Livramento.
The 22-year-old has quickly become an indispensable member of Eddie Howe‘s starting lineup over the last two seasons, making a total of 80 appearances since joining from Southampton in 2023.
Due to his immaculate disciplinary record, very rarely being caught out in defence, mixed with his ability to venture further up the pitch, it has been no surprise to see him linked with moves away.
Man City are one team interested in Livramento this summer, though the Magpies are set to meet any potential approaches with a resounding denial ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
While many of the players at St James’ Park have been able to take a break, the 22-year-old has been away with England Under-21s at Euro U21, helping the Three Lions to the title on Saturday, 28 June.
Tino Livramento celebrates incredible international achievement
Taking to Instagram (28 June), the official club account wrote: “You’re looking at a Euro Under-21 champion! Congratulations, Tino,” with England and love heart emojis.
The post gained likes from multiple of his teammates, including Joelinton, Anthony Gordon, Lewis Miley, and Lewis Hall, with Livramento starring in the 3-2 win over Germany in the final.
Eddie Howe to welcome back Newcastle stars for pre-season
Football Insider verdict
Howe will begin welcoming back his players to St James’ Park very soon, with pre-season friendlies lined up against Celtic, Arsenal, and Atletico Madrid next month.
Much like Man City and Chelsea at the Club World Cup, Livramento has not been able to rest after only missing the group stage defeat to Germany at Euro U21 in Slovakia.
Lee Carsley’s side were far superior when the full-back was on the field, lining up next to Liverpool’s exit-bound defender Jarell Quansah, Charlie Cresswell, and Jack Hinshelwood of Brighton.

Underrated Anfield star, Harvey Elliott, was on the scoresheet yet again, with Omari Hutchinson and Jonathan Rowe also netting to seal the memorable win over in Slovakia.
Livramento will be able to showcase his ability on the biggest stage next season after the Magpies secured Champions League qualification next season, and that is likely to keep many stars at the club.
Football Insider understands that Newcastle are increasingly confident of keeping Alexander Isak this summer due to the Champions League, and that will be a huge boost for the Magpies.
