'Jog on', 'Bye' - Celtic fans react to reported Rogic contract developments
Celtic supporters on Twitter have slammed Tom Rogic after a number of reported developments emerged about the Australian midfielder’s contract situation at the club.
The Australian website The World Game put the cat among pigeons by reporting that Rogic had rejected a new deal with the Hoops, with his current deal having just 15 months left to run.
However, since then the Daily Record has claimed that the Hoops are confident that the player – who has just returned from a three months injury lay-off – will sign a new deal and that manager Brendan Rodgers was unaware of the reports from Australia.
Fans aren’t impressed with the idea of the player contemplating leaving, with one claiming that “someone else is welcome to him, his injuries and his long haul flights”.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the confusion surrounding the future of the 25-year-old:

Rogic is a great player but questions about his fitness would put a few teams off and doesn't exactly strengthen his negotiation position on a new contract, then again I could be wrong

Totally understand that but surely rogic is not looking for a wage rise considering he's on the treatment table half of every season at least

Rogic is a good player, but injuries and fitness is always going to be an issue. to say he is too 'good' for celtic is ridiculous especially since he has struggled for game time even with injuries

lol celtic have much better midfielders than Rogic, just cause your aussie stop being deluded. Armstrong, McGregor, Brown, Ntcham all better than Rogic

It remains to be seen if Rogic’s future lies in Glasgow but the contract situation will have to be sorted sooner rather than later.
Rogic may be involved at some stage when the Hoops return to league action against Aberdeen on Sunday.
The game has turned into a must-win for the Bhoys following their dreadful performance against Zenit in the Europa League.
A win for the Bhoys would see them extend their lead over the Dons to 12 points, whilst a win for Aberdeen would see the gap at the top of the league cut down to just six points.
