John Aldridge predicts Liverpool v Manchester City, backs 28-year-old to score

John Aldridge has predicted Liverpool to pick up another victory in Saturday evening’s Premier League clash at Anfield.
The ex-Reds forward has backed a 3-2 win for the Merseyside giants, while also tipping 28-year-old Adam Lallana to score the first goal.
The England international has come into some stunning form this season under Jurgen Klopp with seven goals and six assists in 17 encounters this campaign.
With four goals in his last six appearances for Liverpool, Aldridge believes he will get on the score sheet again in an entertaining encounter.

Liverpool are going into the clash against Pep Guardiola’s side in a high second place, as they trail league leaders Chelsea by nine points with a game in hand.

However, City are sitting just behind the Reds in third place and a point less and they will be sure to provide a stern test for Klopp’s team.
