John Aldridge predicts Liverpool v Stoke, backs 24-year-old to score
By Harvey Byrne
John Aldridge has backed Liverpool to pick up all three points in Tuesday’s Premier League clash at Anfield.
The former Reds striker has predicted a 2-0 victory for the home side, while also backing 24-year-old Sadio Mane to score the first goal.
The Senegal international has been an instant hit on Merseyside since completing a £34million switch from Southampton in the summer with eight goals and seven assists in 18 encounters.
He scored in Liverpool’s last match against Everton in the 1-0 win and Aldridge believes he will help the Reds on their way to all three points again on Tuesday.

By contrast, Stoke are sitting in 12th and have so far had a very inconsistent campaign to date.
The Merseyside giants are going into the clash on the back of two victories and a draw after a late 4-3 collapse against Bournemouth earlier in the month.
Meanwhile, Stoke have failed to win any of their last three matches and will be trying to put an end to a bad spell of form.
The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports 1 at 5.15pm.
