John Hartson posts Twitter message to Celtic fans ahead of clash v Rangers

By Will Butcher

John Hartson has urged Celtic to continue their domination over Old Firm rivals Rangers when the two sides meet on Saturday.

Bitter enemies Celtic and Rangers go head to head for the sixth time this season, with Ibrox playing venue to the showdown just six days after the two sides met in the Scottish Cup.

Former Hoops striker Hartson posted a picture of him celebrating with Bhoys legend Henrik Larsson on his personal Twitter account, writing “bit more of this today”.

Celtic coasted to a 2-0 victory last time out against the Gers at Hampden Park, as goals from Callum McGregor and Scott Sinclair earned a place in the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen.

Brendan Rodgers has seen his side earn four victories in their five outings against Pedro Caixinha’s side, drawing the other 1-1 on Parkhead back in March.

Rangers will be desperate to stop the rot against their bitter rivals, as they look to end Celtic’s hopes of going unbeaten this season in the Scottish Premiership.

However, they will be without Lee Wallace, Philippe Senderos and Rob Kiernan, while Lee Hodson is facing a race against time to be fit, according to the BBC.

With five league games still to play, Rodgers will be hoping to pick up his 30th Scottish Premiership win as manager of the 48-time league champions against the Gers.

In other Celtic news, Chris Sutton has slammed this decision made by the Hoops ahead of their clash against Rangers.
