Jon Toral: Rangers should have done this v St. Johnstone
By Danny Wright
Jon Toral was critical of Rangers’ inability to finish off St. Johnstone at an earlier stage in their 3-2 win on Wednesday.
The Light Blues held a two goal lead but the Ibrox visitors staged a late comeback to level the scores going in the stoppage time.
Gers struck a late winner when Emerson Hyndman scored to give the side their first league win since January.
Rangers had a number of chances to extend their lead throughout the game.
Joe Garner had the best of the chances when he missed a golden opportunity from just two yards out, which would have left St. Johnstone trailing by three.

The win leaves Rangers six points behind second-placed Aberdeen who lost to Hamilton on Tuesday.
However Toral, who played 82 minutes in the tie, thinks that the win was much-needed.
“It was a confidence booster to win like that but we should have seen it out earlier,” he said in a press conference that was covered by the official Rangers Twitter account.

The 22-year-old is new to life at Ibrox having joined the club on a loan deal from Arsenal in January.
He spent the first half of the season on loan in La Liga at Granada but first team chances were limited for the midfielder.
Since his January move, Toral has made seven appearances for the Light Blues in all competitions.
The Spanish midfielder has also had loan spells at Brentford, where he worked with former Gers boss Mark Warburton and Birmingham City.
