Jordan Henderson and Ryan Gravenberch react to Mo Salah’s Liverpool message

Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah has caught the attention of Jordan Henderson and Ryan Gravenberch with his message of appreciation on social media.

Salah spearheaded the Reds’ Premier League title charge last season, as they wrapped up the trophy with four games still remaining.

The Egyptian scored 29 league goals to claim the Golden Boot, as well as topping the assists charts with 18.

Salah sends ‘thank you’ message

Salah’s future at Liverpool was confirmed back in April, when the Egypt international put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at the club.

There had been rumours swirling about the attacker’s contract situation, with some believing he was set for an Anfield exit, but in the end he signed on the dotted line.

On Sunday (15 June), Salah celebrated his 33rd birthday, taking to Instagram to share a photo of himself celebrating, with the caption: “Thank you for your birthday wishes.”

Former Reds captain Henderson liked the post to show his support, as did current Liverpool midfielder Gravenberch.

Salah shows no signs of slowing down

Salah will have a new partner on the right-hand side next season, after it was confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold had left Liverpool, with the full-back moving to Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old had a real connection with Alexander-Arnold but will have to cope without the Englishman’s creativity in the upcoming campaign.

The academy graduate’s replacement has already been confirmed, as Liverpool announced the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.

Frimpong has some impressive attacking statistics of his own, scoring five goals and picking up five assists last season in the Bundesliga.

Whoever Salah is partnered with on the right, it seems almost inevitable that he will continue to score goals for Liverpool.

Even at the age of 33, it looks as if the winger can play for another three or four years at the very top level, and by then he could be getting close to Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record.
