Liverpool attacker future thrown into fresh doubt after cryptic Instagram post

By Alex Taylor

Jordan Ibe has done little to quash speculation surrounding his Liverpool future after his latest Instagram message.

The 20-year-old winger has been the subject of a much transfer speculation this summer after being linked to a variety of Premier League teams.

The young forward is preparing to return to pre-season training with Liverpool next week but his future at the club is still up in the air.

Ibe has been touted as one of the best academy stars at the Merseyside club but continued to fuel speculation about a possible move away from Anfield.

His message on the social media site read: “Few days till I’m back and ready for whatever”.

The England Under-21 international featured 41 times in all competitions this season under Jurgen Klopp but despite being a mainstay in his manager’s match day squad, is still uncertain about his future.

Ibe is one of a number of emerging talents at Anfield alongside the likes of Divock Origi, Emre Can and Joe Gomez.

In other Liverpool news, it has emerged that the Reds are interested in signing Moussa Sissoko – and it is fair to say quite a few supporters on Twitter were not too happy with the club’s reported transfer target.
