Taking to Instagram (15 July), the official account wrote: “We have completed the signing of goalkeeper Mark Travers on a four-year contract from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee.
“Welcome to Everton, Mark,” with Jordan Pickford, Jake O’Brien, and Abdoulaye Doucoure all liking the announcement at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The 26-year-old arrives following multiple loan spells away from the Vitality Stadium, only managing to make 82 appearances for the Cherries over the last nine years.

The business is unlikely to stop there for the Toffees, with Football Insider understanding that Everton have joined Man United in a race to sign Leicester City’s Wilfried Ndidi.
In his first season on Merseyside, taking over from Sean Dyche, Moyes lifted the team far away from the Premier League relegation zone, and form even sparked hope of a European spot.
An unbeaten streak in the top tier of nine matches, forgetting the 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth in the FA Cup, has quickly seen him become a favourite figure amongst the fans once again.
Football Insider also understands that Everton want to sign Aston Villa’s John McGinn, though Unai Emery’s side are in no mood to entertain offers for the Scotland international.
The club’s ambitions under the new owners are clear for everyone to see, and if they can pull off some of these other transfers, it will send a huge message to the rest of the Premier League.
Several players in the current squad are seen as deadweight, which Moyes is slowly chipping away at this summer, but those players will need replacing before the 2025/26 campaign kicks off.
