Joshua Zirkzee ‘likes’ confirmed Jamal Musiala news as deal agreed
Man United striker Joshua Zirkzee took to social media to make his feelings known regarding Jamal Musiala’s new Bayern Munich contract.
Zirkzee, 23, played alongside Musiala, 21, played together at Bayern Munich before the now Man United forward left to join Italian side Bologna.
Musiala had previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford with his previous deal in Munich set to expire in the summer of 2026.
Football Insider revealed that rivals Man City were eyeing a move for Musiala, as well as Florin Wirtz, as they look for a long-term successor to Kevin de Bruyne.
Pep Guardiola’s side are still intent on signing a replacement for De Bruyne, with Football Insider revealing (February 14) that Wirtz is now their number one target.
The playmaker’s new contract, keeping him at Bayern until the summer of 2030, has seemingly put any talk of a move to the Premier League to rest, however.
Musiala has been in top form for Bayern so far this season, starting 24 of his 30 games across all competitions, scoring 15 goals, and providing eight assists in his 2094 minutes of action.
