Jude Bellingham responds to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool message
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold made his successful playing return in their 2-0 Premier League win over title rivals Man City on Sunday (December 1).
The 26-year-old missed Liverpool’s last two games, including the 2-0 Champions League win over Jude Bellingham’s Real Madrid after picking up an injury in the game against Aston Villa.
With understudy Conor Bradley out for the foreseeable future with a hamstring injury, Alexander-Arnold made his comeback against City, helping Liverpool go nine points clear at the top.
Arne Slot’s side are on a remarkable run, winning nine of their last ten games across all competitions, including wins over German champions Bayer Leverkusen as well as La Liga and Premier League holders Real Madrid and Man City.
Despite Liverpool’s dominance both domestically and on the continent, Alexander-Arnold is one of three key players, alongside Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, who are out of contract at the end of the season.

Determined to maintain their strong form, Alexander-Arnold shared a message on Instagram to assure fans there would be no easing off, captioning his post, “No slowing down. Good to be back out there,” which Bellingham promptly liked.
The defeat to Liverpool sees Pep Guardiola’s Man City side fall out of the top-four and winless in their last seven games across all competitions.
With the hectic festive period in full swing, Slot’s side will travel to Newcastle on Wednesday (December 4).
