Jude Bellingham sends message as Real Madrid loan exit announced
Jude Bellingham has sent a message to Real Madrid teammate Endrick after it was announced that he will join Lyon on loan in the January window.
Real Madrid‘s inconsistencies have led to question marks around manager Xabi Alonso‘s future in charge, with the club currently sitting second in La Liga behind rivals Barcelona.
England star Bellingham has not been at his best so far this season, but has returned to form in recent weeks with a goal and two assists in his last four appearances.
They are bound to be active in January as they chase silverware on numerous fronts, with one exit already confirmed as Endrick moves on loan to Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
The Brazilian forward needs a fresh start after making just three appearances for Los Blancos so far this season, and his teammate Bellingham has wished him luck out in France.
Bellingham sends ‘good luck’ message as Endrick heads to Lyon
Football Insider revealed last month that West Ham had registered an interest in signing Endrick, but Lyon were the front-runners for his signature ahead of the new year.
Man United were also touted to move for Endrick to add to their attacking options, but he has now made the move to the Ligue 1 side on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has struggled to make his mark in the Spanish capital since a high-profile switch from Palmeiras last year, and so has seized his chance to leave on loan with opportunities at a premium under Alonso.
He took to Instagram on Tuesday to share an AI video of him flying to France and walking to his number nine shirt in the Groupama Stadium alongside the caption: “Allez les Gones!”
Endrick’s post was reacted to by Bellingham, who replied to say: “Mucha suerte mi Bob!” which translates to “Good luck my Bob!” and alludes to the Brazilian’s nickname of ‘Bobby’, after Man United and England legend Bobby Charlton.
Bellingham could soon be saying goodbye to Vinicius Junior amid Man City and Chelsea links
Madrid’s struggles, especially when compared to their huge expectations, have plunged the futures of a number of their stars into uncertainty as it stands.
They are in real danger of missing out on another La Liga title to Barca, despite the array of talent at Alonso’s disposal, and there is the feeling that one star may have to make way soon for the benefit of the team.

Man City are known admirers of Vinicius Junior, and he seems to be the big name with the most potential to depart Madrid in the near future.
Football Insider recently revealed that City and Chelsea are set to be the two frontrunners to sign Vinicius if he becomes available, and so Bellingham may also be wishing him luck soon if he does make the move to the Premier League.
