Julen Lopetegui has five games to avoid West Ham sack – Keith Wyness
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed West Ham could sack Julen Lopetegui during the November international break.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted Irons fans are already showing a “big degree of dissatisfaction”.
West Ham have started poorly under new boss Lopetegui, winning just one of six Premier League games to sit 14th in the table.
The London club now face five games before the November international break – Ipswich, Tottenham, Man United, Nottingham Forest and Everton.
West Ham already exited the League Cup last month, losing 5-1 away at Liverpool in the third round.
West Ham could sack Lopetegui in November, says Wyness
Wyness slammed the “quality of football” at the London Stadium under Lopetegui.
He told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “The November break could be the time if things don’t pick up quickly.
“The fans are already showing a big degree of dissatisfaction.
“The fans expected a better quality of football – they haven’t got it.
“I know that’s a big pressure, but if the results don’t come – it’s even more trouble.

“November could be the time when the trigger is pulled.
“Let’s see if they can turn things around in the next few games.”
