‘Julen Lopetegui to be sacked tonight’ – West Ham fans react to source’s reveal
West Ham supporters have called for the club to fire under pressure manager Julen Lopetegui after they suffered their seventh defeat of the season against struggling Leicester City.
The Hammers were beaten 3-1 at the King Power Stadium, leaving them 14th in the Premier League table and just six points above the relegation zone.
The Spaniard only took charge of the club in the summer as he was brought in to replace David Moyes and provide a more pragmatic and attacking style of play at the same time.
West Ham have only managed to win four games since Lopetegui became manager as he has struggled to make an impact on the team.
Sergio Conceicao has emerged as a potential contender to replace him, with the former Porto boss currently available.

That continued on social media as supporters claimed the result was “inexcusable” and was the “final nail in the coffin” for Lopetegui’s spell in charge.
