Jurgen Klopp slams Liverpool fans as one situation is ‘being blown out of proportion’
Jurgen Klopp has been left raging at one thing happening at Liverpool after the Reds lost three games on the bounce.
Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea leaves the Reds a point below league leaders Arsenal and stretches their winless streak to three matches following defeats at Crystal Palace and Galatasaray.
Arne Slot’s current issues have been compounded by centre-back Ibrahima Konate having to withdraw from the France squad due to injury.
Slot already has fellow defender Giovanni Leoni out for the season and goalkeeper Allison currently on the sidelines.
Jurgen Klopp believes ‘everything will be fine’ with Florian Wirtz
Liverpool are also yet to get the best out of summer arrival Florian Wirtz, who joined for £100million from Bayer Leverkusen.
As per the Daily Express [12 October] former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp does not believe Wirtz current form is an issue.
“I don’t have to worry about Florian Wirtz because his quality is so outstanding,” Klopp said.
“Of course, everything is fine, and everyone knows that. The discussion is certainly being blown out of proportion.
“Liverpool have just lost three games in a row – it’s unusual for something like that to happen after such a long time.
“But it’s also normal in life. That’s why these things are discussed. I’ve been in the middle of such discussions long enough now, and I can tell you: nothing could interest people less than the public discussions that are taking place there.
“So it doesn’t matter, and everything will be fine.“
Wirtz only has one assist for Liverpool this season, and has yet to score his first goal for the club in 10 appearances.
Wirtz should switch positions amid Germany form
Currently on international duty, Wirtz was deployed on the left flank for Germany‘s match against Luxembourg.
The 22-year-old made four key passes and created one big chance during the win, with Nick Woltemade not helping Wirtz by spurning chances created for him.

With options in midfield, Slot could experiment with Wirtz down the left, to help support and provide competition for Cody Gakpo.
Wirtz arrived at Anfield with high expectations and Slot needs to ensure he gets the best out of the forward.
