Jurgen Klopp will be delighted by what he's just seen from Liverpool stars - ex-manager
Jurgen Klopp will be delighted with the reaction of the Liverpool players after going 1-0 down to Aston Villa on Tuesday night, according to Alex McLeish.
The former Scotland manager, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted the Reds’ “slow starts” in recent games will be something of a concern for the 54-year-old.
Liverpool have gone behind in their last three games against Villareal, Tottenham and Villa.
They came back to win against the Spanish and Midlands outfits, while they held Spurs to a 1-1 draw.
McLeish suggested Klopp will be “analysing” why Liverpool have started games slowly and conceded first.
However, he insisted the manner of the comebacks will have pleased the German boss.

McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “He’ll definitely analyse it and go over it with the players. He’ll say: ‘Well, listen, we don’t want to have these slow starts, losing any goals’.
“It doesn’t give them a mountain to climb because they’re such a good team, you know they will create chances. It just gives the opposition a wee bit of wind in their sales.
“Nevertheless, I think what he’ll be more pleased by is the reaction of his team in these situations. That is the most positive thing you could say about it.
“He will be really, extremely positive about the way that they’ve bounced back in a situation. That was one on Tuesday night. Early doors, a good goal by Villa, a wee bit of an error.
“Liverpool, you know that team are going to come back into it. They’re going to have chances. It’s just down to the execution of the finishers that they have.”
Liverpool face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon.
