Justin Kluivert, Kepa react to ‘sealed the deal’ message from Bournemouth
Justin Kluivert and Kepa Arrizabalaga reacted to a message on social media from Bournemouth amidst a busy transfer window.
The Cherries are paying the price of success this summer as Europe’s elite are eyeing moves for several of the stars who helped the club to their joint-highest Premier League finish.
Dean Huijsen has already signed for Real Madrid, whilst his centre-back partner Illia Zabaranyi has interest from PSG.
Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider Tottenham have emerged as suitors for Antoine Semenyo, but the winger might cost as much as £70million.
Milos Kerkez is also expected to make a move to Liverpool, whilst Kluivert himself has interest after registering 18 goal contributions in the Premier League last season.
Bournemouth have signed Adrien Truffert from Rennes as a replacement at left-back, but the Cherries are facing the immense prospect of overhauling the majority of their squad this summer.

Bournemouth share ‘sealed the deal’ message
Bournemouth shared a message with their winger, Luis Sinisterra, wishing the Colombian a happy birthday by sharing a video on Instagram of his 94th-minute goal when the Cherries beat Everton in August 2024.
The post was captioned: “The goal that sealed the deal. We hope you have a great birthday”.
Arrizabalaga and Kluivert both liked the post, showing support for the former Leeds man.
Bournemouth pay the price for missing out on Europe
Football Insider Verdict
Midway through the season, Bournemouth looked like genuine contenders for a place in the Champions League, and if that failed, they were good bets for either the Europa League or Conference League.
But after an end of season collapse that saw them win just three of their last 13 games in the league, the club ultimately finished ninth.
Whilst still a successful season, the Cherries would have been in a much stronger position to stave off interest in their stars with European football.
Huijsen‘s release clause and interest from European giants meant he was always a guarantee to leave, but a season in Europe would have made it easier to attract a high-level replacement for the Spaniard.
After missing out, the Cherries are now at risk of a huge regression, as it is hard to see how Andoni Iraola will be able to work his magic without so many of his key players.
