Justin Kluivert, Marcos Senesi respond to Bournemouth’s Julio Soler amid exit whispers
Bournemouth players Justin Kluivert and Marcos Senesi both have uncertain futures at the club which could lead to more departures for manager Andoni Iraola.
Iraola has already had to deal with the departures of key players including defenders Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen and goalkeeper Kepa.
The Cherries have been able to tie down Antoine Semenyo, was the subject of interest from Tottenham, to a new contract and sign Adrien Truffert as a Kerkez replacement.
Iraola steered Bournemouth to a ninth placed finish last season and has ambitions to break into the European places, which they were only nine points off last campaign.

Soler ‘soon’ message sparks comment from stars
Taking to Instagram one of Bournemouth’s young prospects Julio Soler shared pictures from pre-season training.
The 20-year-old has made only five appearances for the club after joining from Argentina club Lanus in January.
Appearances | 58 |
Goals | 0 |
Assists | 2 |
His post was liked by stars Kluivert and Senesi who have both been the subject of interest this summer and both players also commented on the post with the former calling Soler an ‘animal’.
Bayer Leverkusen have shown interest in Kluivert, whilst La Liga and Serie A clubs have been monitoring defender Senesi.
Bournemouth facing tough start amid transfer speculation
Football Insider Verdict
Bournemouth have so far been able to keep both Kluivert and Senesi at the club and Iraola will have no intention in letting either player go.
The Cherries are still searching for a replacement for Huijsen with fellow centre-back Illia Zabarnyi looking likely to depart the club.
Tottenham are interested in Zabarnyi, but the transfer depends on Atletico Madrid’s move for Cristian Romero.
Losing Zabarnyi would leave Iraola with a gaping hole in his defence and the manager needs to integrate new goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic into his side after the 25-year-old recently moved from Chelsea.
A deal for Kluivert would likely be sanctioned at the right price now Semenyo has committed his future to the club, but could depend on fellow attacker Marcus Tavernier who is the subject of interest from West Ham.
Bournemouth may need to add depth to their squad and Iraola may also be thankful when the transfer window is closed to be able to focus on the Premier League.
