Justin Kluivert reacts to announcement at Bournemouth as ‘agent seeks transfer’
Justin Kluivert reacted to a new announcement at Bournemouth with the Dutchman potentially on the move this summer.
The 26-year-old’s career has been a nomadic one, having played for six teams during his career.
But after bouncing from the Netherlands to Italy, then on to France and Spain, the Dutchman looked to have finally found a place to call home in England this season.
Kluivert scored a stunning hat-trick against Newcastle earlier in the season, and a return of 12 goals and six assists represents the best of his career as a professional.
The goals were of particular note given his father Patrick used to play for the Magpies and his performance inevitably sparked rumours Justin would follow in his father’s path and move to St. James’ Park.
But despite an impressive first season at the Vitality, the former Roma man could be on the move this summer.

Ryan Christie announced as Supporters’ Player of the Year
Despite so many of the top performers this term being linked to an exit, or in the case of Dean Huijsen already confirmed to heave gone, it was one of the under-the-radar men who picked up a supporters’ award.
Following a season spent as the ultimate utility man, Ryan Christie was announced as the Supporters’ Player of the Year on the clubs’ Instagram.
The post was captioned: “The love from Ryan Christie”, and was liked by Kluivert, who himself was awarded with Junior Player of the Season award.

Football Insider Verdict
As reported by Martin Samuel in The Times at the beginning of May, Kluivert’s agents have been offering his services to other clubs.
It seems an unusual decision given how settled the Dutch winger has looked in a red and black shirt this season after spending much of his career failing to live up to expectations.
What’s more, given Bournemouth will spend much of the summer fending off offers for players such as Milos Kerkez, Antoine Semenyo, and Illia Zabarnyi, there will be little motivation to even entertain bids for their prolific winger.

The Bournemouth Echo reported that when the 26-year-old signed for the club, he had penned a four-year deal that would run till 2028, putting the South Coast side in a position of strength if any offers are received.
The Cherries are on the up, and for as long as talented manager Andoni Iraola is in charge, Kluivert will be best served remaining with the club.
