Justin Kluivert reacts to Milos Kerkez ‘breaking’ news at Bournemouth
Justin Kluivert has reacted to the latest transfer news about his Bournemouth teammate as Milos Kerkez continues to be linked with Liverpool.
The full-back has had an incredible season on the south coast, notching two goals and five assists as he started all 38 of the Cherries’ Premier League matches in 2024/25.
His performances have not gone unnoticed across the division, with Mick Brown telling Football Insider that Liverpool will meet Kerkez’s asking price of £40million this summer.
Jeremie Frimpong has already arrived at Anfield as the Reds’ first piece of business in the transfer window, though Ian Darke told Liverpool News 247 (2 June) the 24-year-old is not guaranteed a starting spot.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving for Real Madrid and Andy Robertson struggling for form in 2024/25, Arne Slot appears to be rebuilding key former aspects of the squad this summer.

Milos Kerkez edges closer to Bournemouth exit
Taking to Instagram (4 June), Fabrizio Romano wrote: “BREAKING: Liverpool are prepared to seal Milos Kerkez deal with here we go soon!” with a bomb emoji.
“One more round of talks has now been scheduled with Bournemouth to get the agreement finally over the line. Bournemouth and Liverpool are finalising the deal after personal terms were in place last week.
“Kerkez’s ready for it. Nearly there,” with the transfer news gaining a like from his teammate, Kluivert.

Football Insider verdict
With Frimpong already signed, Alexander-Arnold set to depart early ahead of the Club World Cup, and Kerkez closing in on a move to Anfield, the Reds mean serious business this summer.
Although Slot lifted the Premier League title in his first season in England, supporters were left wanting so much more after being knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup at early stages.
Of course, those same fans have joined in and enjoyed the party atmosphere as the squad celebrated their domestic trophy lift, but the manager will be keen to go again next season.

Football Insider understands that Liverpool are also confident of signing Florian Wirtz, having had an offer of £110million rejected by Bayer Leverkusen.
The German international is a huge talent, with some of Europe’s biggest giants battling for his signature, but the Reds continue to push forward with their deal for the 22-year-old.
Slot is already creating an incredible squad, one that is slightly different from the one that Jurgen Klopp built over several years, sending a clear message to the rest of the Premier League.
