Justin Kluivert reacts to new teammate’s message after confirmed Bournemouth signing
Bournemouth star Justin Kluivert was among the players to respond following a new signing’s message after joining the club.
Bournemouth enjoyed a brilliant 2024/25 season, recording their highest-ever Premier League points total.
However, their success has come with challenges, as several key players have departed during what’s proving to be a busy summer of change.
Dean Huijsen sealed a move to Real Madrid earlier this summer, with the Spanish giants triggering his release clause, while Milos Kerkez has completed a transfer to Liverpool.
With Kerkez’s departure leaving a gap at left-back, Bournemouth have wasted no time moving to secure his replacement.

Bournemouth secure Adrien Truffert signing to replace Milos Kerkez
Bournemouth have completed the signing of Adrien Truffert from French side Rennes, with the left-back penning a five-year deal at the Vitality Stadium.
The Frenchman has already shared a message with supporters after finalising the move, posting on Instagram: “A new chapter begins! I’m proud to sign for Bournemouth and join this amazing club.
“I can’t wait to get started, meet my teammates and play in the Premier League! Let’s go. Up the Cherries”.
His message attracted attention from his new teammates, with Kluivert and Daniel Jebbison among those to like the post.
Other Premier League players also reacted such as Manchester City’s Rayan Cherki, Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor and Leeds United defender Joe Rodon also showed their support by liking the announcement.
The 23-year-old impressed individually last season despite Rennes enduring a poor league campaign, making 35 appearances, scoring twice and providing three assists.
Truffert also brings valuable European experience to Iraola’s squad, having featured in both the Europa League and Champions League, and is expected to fill the void left by Kerkez.
Justin Kluivert linked with Bundesliga switch amid Bournemouth future doubts

While Kluivert was quick to react to Truffert’s unveiling, his own Bournemouth future remains uncertain.
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown revealed that the Kluivert is keen on joining Bayer Leverkusen this summer, with the Bundesliga side identifying him as a replacement for Florian Wirtz.
The Dutchman played a key role for Bournemouth last season, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists in 39 appearances, as Iraola’s side enjoyed an impressive league campaign.
With Antoine Semenyo recently signing a new long-term deal at Bournemouth, fans will now wait to see if Kluivert also commits his future — or if he looks set for a move away ahead of the new season.
