Justin Kluivert sends message to Bournemouth fans after confirmed news

Bournemouth forward Justin Kluivert took to social media to thank the fans after being named the Premier League Player of the Month for January.

The 25-year-old played a key role for Andoni Iraola’s side as they climbed up the Premier League table, currently sitting in seventh, three points off Chelsea in fourth.

Kluivert scored five Premier League goals, including a remarkable hattrick against Newcastle, and provided two assists throughout January.

The Dutchman has since been linked with a move to Newcastle, with many of the St James’ Park faithful suggesting it would be a “great move.”

Iraola was also named Premier League Manager of the Month after ending January with four wins, one draw, and one defeat under his belt.

According to one Sky Sports pundit, it’s only a matter of time before a ‘top club’ come in for Iraola and snatch him away from Bournemouth.

Kluivert took to Instagram after been given his award to send a message to the fans, saying: “Honored to receive this trophy. Thanks to the fans, the team and the club.”

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Keith Wyness has suggested that the club have no intention of resting on their laurels and that they could benefit from tapping into “undeveloped talent” from both countries.
