Juventus consider Erik Lamela bid

By Italy correspondent Gianluigi Carrozzini
Juventus are weighing up a shock Erik Lamela bid, Football Insider sources understand.

The Serie A champions have turned their attention to the Tottenham playmaker after failing to entice the likes of Oscar, Mario Gotze, and Julian Draxler to Turin.
Spurs will listen to offers for Lamela, who has been such a disappointment since his club-record £30million move from Roma two years ago.
The Londoners do not want to lose money on the 23-year-old, although £25.8million of the money to Roma was guaranteed, with the rest made of up of performance-related add-ons.
Tottenham are convinced that Lamela still has the potential to be a major force at a leading club, although they accept that his game is not ideally suited to the Premier League.
The Argentina international has struggled to clinch a regular first-team spot at White Hart Lane, even though he has been given more opportunities under his countryman Mauricio Pochettino than predecessors Tim Sherwood and Andre Villas-Boas.
