
Kai Havertz sends ‘strong’ message to Arsenal fans after wife’s abuse
Arsenal forward Kai Havertz took to social media to praise his team’s performance after their 3-0 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday (January 22).
The 25-year-old scored Arsenal’s second, helping put them on the brink of automatic qualification for the round of 16.
Declan Rice put the home side ahead after just two minutes, slotting past Ivan Nevistic on the half-volley thanks to some brilliant hold-up play from Havertz.
The German forward bagged his goal just after the hour mark before Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard rounded off the scoring in added time.
Arsenal’s win over Dinamo Zagreb has them sitting third in the new Champions League league phase with 16 points from their seven games.

Havertz has been integral to Mikel Arteta’s plans so far this season, starting 27 of his 30 games across all competitions, scoring 14 goals, and providing four assists in his 2468 minutes of action.
Havertz took to Instagram after the win over Dinamo Zagreb to praise his side’s performance and momentum, saying: “Keeping the UCL momentum strong.”

Arsenal will travel to Spanish side Girona for their last Champions League game on January 29th, knowing a win would guarantee automatic qualification.
Arteta’s attention will be firmly on domestic affairs for now, however, as they head to Wolves for their next Premier League game on Saturday (January 25).
