Kane knows identity of new Tottenham boss and doesn't want to work with him - pundit
Frank McAvennie insists Harry Kane knows the identity of the new Tottenham boss amid reports over his future.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claims the striker may not want to work with the new manager.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider the club are increasingly confident of appointing a new boss shortly after the end of the domestic season.
Sky Sports revealed on Monday that Kane wants to leave Spurs with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all registering their interest.
McAvennie claims Kane must know the identity of the new boss and that may have played a huge role in his decision to quit the club.
“The biggest problem Tottenham have is that Kane won’t be there next season,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“I got slaughtered for that so I’m so glad to be proved right. He won’t be there next season.
“He must know who the new manager is and he won’t want to work with him. If they want to announce him just after the end of the season, he knows.
“That’s where these reports have come from. It’s a big ask to come in after Mourinho and I’m not sure they can replace him.
“He’s 27, he doesn’t see any trophies coming. He needs to be able to tell his grandkids about what he won.”
Kane has scored 22 goals and picked up 13 assists in the Premier League this season.
He could win the golden boot for the third time in his career if he holds off Mo Salah’s challenge.
