Kasper Schmeichel sends ‘challenging’ message to Celtic fans after development
Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has addressed the fans after their 1-0 Scottish Premier League win over Aberdeen on Wednesday (December 4).
The 38-year-old helped Brendan Rodgers’ side go seven points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premier League as they seek to win their fourth consecutive title.
Schmeichel ended the game having made three saves, a 97 per cent pass accuracy rate, and 11 recoveries.
Reo Hatate’s 78th-minute strike secured all three points for the visitors as they were pelted by the rain at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie Stadium.
The Glasgow giants remain unbeaten in the league, having won 13 and drawn one of their first 14 matches, with their only draw coming in their previous fixture against Aberdeen.
