Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has taken to social media to celebrate “Bouncing back the right way” after 3-0 Scottish Premier League win over St. Mirren on Sunday (January 5).
The 38-year-old played the full 90 minutes in their win over St. Mirren, ending the game having made just one save, eight recoveries, and a 94 per cent pass accuracy rate.
In-form winger Nicolas Kuhn opened the scoring in the 33rd minute before Auston Trusty doubled their lead ten minutes later with his first goal for the club since joining in the summer.
Kuhn then bagged his brace just after the hour mark, securing a first win for Brendan Rodgers’ side since their humiliating Old Firm defeat to Rangers in their previous game.
