‘Keeps getting worse’, ‘Absolutely honking’ – Rangers fans fume at what Danilo did as footage analysed
Rangers fans could not believe their eyes after Danilo missed “criminal” sitters in their 1-0 victory over Hearts on Wednesday (6 December).
The Gers travelled to Tynecastle in search of their third consecutive win, and courtesy of Abdallah Sima’s 12th goal in all competitions this season, Philippe Clement’s side picked up all three points.
However, they could have notched a fair few more had Danilo not missed multiple clear-cut chances to put the game to bed, while heroics from Jack Butland and James Tavernier kept the dangerous Jam Tarts at bay.
The Brazilian’s worst miss came shortly after the break when Leon Balogun headed Todd Cantwell’s pin-point cross into his path but he failed to convert from just yards out.
Rangers have had plenty of problems up top this season and fans have taken to social media to berate Danilo for this “pathetic” attempt.
One supporter feels Danilo is in the same category as other misfiring Gers and should be treated as such.
This fan is quickly losing faith in his ability.
This supporter was adamant that a “proper nine” would have doubled Rangers’ lead in this situation.

This fan slammed Danilo and claimed that as a £6million signing, he needs to be converting such clear-cut chances.
Another fan noted Danilo’s multiple misses and believed former Gers forward Antonio Colak would have had no issues here.
This fan admitted that Danilo is “probably” superior to Cyriel Dessers, but that Danilo is still “awful”.
This supporter insisted that Danilo needed to convert this chance.
