Keith Wyness drops Iliman Ndiaye verdict, reveals he ‘loves playing’ with one Everton player
Everton could face a battle to keep hold of star man Iliman Ndiaye with the likes of Tottenham interested in the attacker.
Ndiaye has been heavily praised for his start to the season and is quickly developing into one of the best players in the Premier League.
The Senegal international has already scored four top-flight goals in the 2025-26 campaign, as well as picking up one assist.
Tottenham have been linked with Ndiaye in recent weeks, but Everton are set to do all they can to fight off interest in the 25-year-old.

Everton to offer Iliman Ndiaye new contract
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that his old side will manage to keep hold of Ndiaye, as he is happy on Merseyside.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that the Toffees will present the attacker with a new contract fairly soon to secure his future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Ndiaye’s current deal runs until the summer of 2029 but Everton could be willing to offer improved terms to convince him to stay.
Wyness added that the interest in the former Sheffield United man comes as no surprise given his recent form.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Look, you can’t help the interest. He’s doing some fantastic stuff on the pitch. He’s one of those players now that gets people out of their seats when he gets the ball. He is a joy to watch and he’s got amazing feet.
“Everton have got no worries about this. He’s going nowhere. He’s very happy there. They’ll have a new contract with him, I’m pretty sure, fairly soon. I don’t think there’s going to be any issues at all.
“The way that Moyes is setting up the team is perfect for him. I think he loves playing with Jack Grealish. You can’t put two players on Jack Grealish when you’ve got Iliman Ndiaye as well. So, the opposition have got their hands full and Dewsbury Hall is fitting in there well.
“So look, I don’t see any issues. It’s lovely to talk about having players that other clubs want, but he’s going nowhere. I’m pretty sure he’s enjoying where he is right now.”
Everton face Premier League interest in another star
Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have joined Newcastle United in the hunt for Everton midfielder James Garner, sources have told Football Insider.

The Manchester United academy graduate is out of contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium next summer, and his future with the Toffees is up in the air.
Sources say that Villa and Forest have now registered their interest in Garner, 24, ahead of the January transfer window.
It comes after Football Insider revealed on 12 November that Newcastle are keeping tabs on Garner as they look to reinforce their own midfield ranks.
