Keith Wyness drops verdict on Wolves fan revolt, makes January transfer claim
Wolves are in a dire situation currently and will be forced to take action in the January transfer window.
The Old Gold currently sit bottom of the Premier League, with just two points from their opening 10 games of the season.
Vitor Pereira’s side were beaten 3-0 by Fulham on Saturday (1 November), and are now eight points adrift of Burnley in 17th.
Wolves’ owners, the Fosun group, are also now coming under pressure, due to the current situation at Molineux.

Wolves ownership under huge pressure
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that the Wolves owners are going to have to make some big moves in January.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that Pereira’s squad is in desperate need of investment to have any chance of staying up.
Former Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor has been linked with a Wolves takeover in recent weeks, amid the disarray.
Wyness added that the supporters now want new owners, and are becoming more vocal in their opposition of Fosun.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “They are going to have to make some big moves in January. They’re going to have to show the fans something.
“I mean, there’s been a lot of disquiet around some of the parts of Molineux not being repaired properly, a lot of things that Fosun have not done and have let the asset sort of weaken a little bit as we’ve seen over the last couple of seasons.
“But I think the fans do want new owners and I think that’s where the protests and the fan vocal opposition are coming from.
“I hope Wolves can pull it together, but they’re going to have to make some big moves in January.”
Wolves have way out after Pereira contract
Pereira signed a new deal at Molinuex earlier this season, which seemed to be a vote of confidence from the board, despite the club’s disastrous form.

However, Wolves may have included a hidden clause in Pereira’s new contract which would enable them to sack him if needed.
That is according to former Man United and Sunderland chief scout Mick Brown, who believes there could be a clause in the new deal that reduces Pereira’s pay-off if Wolves decide to part ways with the Portuguese boss.
