Kemar Roofe posts Instagram message after Leeds win against Forest, hails teammate

Kemar Roofe has hailed his Leeds teammate Souleymane Doukara for his wonder strike during Leeds’ 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night at Elland Road.
Powerful forward Doukara netted a sublime volley from outside the box in the second half while the hosts were leading the Championship fixture.
Earlier on, striker Chris Wood had put Garry Monk’s side ahead with a close-range finish against a managerless Forest team.
But, Doukara then hit a sweet strike following a corner on 74 minutes to ensure the promotion hopefuls picked up all three points.
Here is Roofe hailing his teammate on his personal Instagram account after their six consecutive home win.
Versatile forward Roofe played the full game against Gary Brazil’s side and looked lively throughout the game.
Nonetheless, the win puts Monk’s team in a strong position in the table as they now sit in third place on 51 points from 28 games.
The Whites have now played an extra game than their rivals but a top six finish looks more likely because they are eight clear of seventh-placed Derby.
Their next Championship game will be a trip to Lancashire where they will take on league strugglers Blackburn at the start of next month.
Monk’s side lost their last game on the road when neighbours Barnsley inflicted a 3-2 defeat on their Yorkshire rivals.
