Kenny makes 'massive' Leeds claim after injury update and predicts 'incredible' Raphinha to run riot
Paddy Kenny insists Leeds have been handed a “massive boost” after a double injury update from Marcelo Bielsa.
The former Leeds stopper, speaking to Football Insider, is backing his old side to pick up a much-needed win this weekend.
Speaking in his pre-Brighton press conference on Thursday, Bielsa confirmed Raphinha and Rodrigo are available for Saturday’s clash.
Raphinha and Rodrigo sat out of last weekend’s game against Tottenham through illness and a foot injury respectively, as per Phil Hay.
The Whites played well but struggled as the game went on as Bielsa was unable to bring experienced players off the bench.
Kenny is delighted to see Rodrigo and Raphinha back and insisted his former side now have a great chance of picking up a positive result.

“It’s been so tough for Leeds with the number of injuries they have had,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It’s been out of their hands but having those two back is a massive, massive boost.
“I’m sure they will be looking to get back to winning ways. Brighton started well but have fallen away.
“I think it’s a big chance for Leeds to get another win on the board and the Brighton defenders won’t be looking forward to that one.
“It’s a winnable game and if we are to win, Rodrigo and Raphinha will be incredibly important.
“They can cause problems for any team.”
Brighton are winless in seven in the Premier League after making a strong start to the Campaign.
They went down 2-0 to Aston Villa in their last outing.
