Kevin De Bruyne: Man City braced for £100m+ Saudi bid – sources
Saudi Pro League clubs have registered interest in a summer deal for Man City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, sources have told Football Insider.
The 32-year-old playmaker is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium in 2025.
It is understood that De Bruyne has been made a top target by Saudi clubs as they prepare for another summer of heavy spending to grow the popularity of their league.
City have previously done business with Saudi clubs with Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte leaving last summer for a combined fee of £55million.
Saudi clubs are willing to pay a transfer fee north of £100million and offer De Bruyne a lucrative contract to lure him to the Middle East.

As revealed by Football Insider, Liverpool have also placed a £100million-plus price tag on Mohamed Salah amid Saudi Arabian interest.
De Bruyne is currently City’s longest-serving player having joined the club from Wolfsburg for what was a club record fee of £54million in 2015.

He was named club captain after Ilkay Gundogan’s departure in 2023 and has won 13 major titles with City including five league titles and a Champions League.
During his nine years in Manchester, the Belgium international has made 369 appearances across all competitions, scoring 98 goals and providing 165 assists.
