Kieffer Moore passes Sheffield United medical as deal agreed – sources

Sheffield United have completed the signing of Kieffer Moore, sources have told Football Insider.

The experienced forward will join the Blades on a three-year contract and has already completed his medical.

According to sources, the deal will be officially announced soon as Moore prepares to kickstart his pre-season with a new club.

The 31-year-old is currently under contract with Bournemouth until 2025, with this summer being the final chance for the Cherries to cash in on him.

That’s exactly what the Premier League outfit are looking to do after Moore spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town.

The Welshman was important in getting the Tractor Boys promoted to the top flight, scoring seven goals in 18 Championship appearances.

Sheffield United have brought in an experienced forward

Chris Wilder has been focusing on rebuilding his Sheffield United squad this summer as he prepares for the new campaign.

Moore will provide him with plenty of experience after playing 364 games across his career to this point.

The Wales international is particularly well-versed in the Championship, where he’s scored 54 goals in 173 appearances.

Moore’s signing is the latest in what is expected to be a busy month at Bramall Lane as the club prepares to try and return to the Premier League at the first attempt.
