Kieran Maguire: Leeds United value to ‘increase further and further’ after new deal announced
Kieran Maguire has claimed the extension of Leeds United’s partnership with Hisense is “indicative of the strength” of the club’s brand.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the finance expert said partners will be “trying to lock themselves” into long-term agreements as there is “a sense of positivity” at Elland Road.
On 11 August, Leeds announced a two-year extension of its partnership with Hisense.
The electrical brand is a Gold Tier partner of the Whites.
The agreement gives Hisense LED perimeter advertising, media interview backdrop branding and extensive branding of the East Stand.
In a statement, Leeds’ executive director Paul Bell said the extension “is testament to the reputation and strength” of the club’s brand.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on the commercial news coming out of Elland Road, Maguire said: “It is indicative of the strength of the Leeds brand that commercial partners will commit to the club.
“There will be step downs included in contracts should the worse happen and Leeds get relegated.
“Given the start they have had to the season, there is a sense of positivity around the club. Partners will be trying to lock themselves into a price that does not go up further.
“If Leeds do continue in the Premier League their value is going to increase further and further.”

Executive director Paul Bell said: “We are delighted that Hisense are extending their partnership with the club.
“It is testament to the reputation and strength of the Leeds United brand that we have extended our relationship together as we continue our journey in the Premier League.”
In other news, Kieran Maguire has claimed Leeds United will welcome VIPs as ‘first-class’ deal agreed.
