Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sends farewell message after exit confirmed
Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall posted an emotional farewell message on social media after an exit was confirmed.
It’s been a difficult campaign for the midfielder since making the switch to Chelsea last summer, reuniting with Enzo Maresca following their time together at Leicester.
Dewsbury-Hall has struggled to make an impact, featuring predominantly in a rotational role and starting just two Premier League matches all season.
Chelsea fans have grown increasingly frustrated with Dewsbury-Hall, with many calling for him to be moved on after a series of underwhelming displays. The limited game time and lack of rhythm never gave him a real chance to establish himself at Stamford Bridge.
Still, his contributions at Leicester City last season were a major reason behind their Championship success. After news of a former teammate’s departure was confirmed, Dewsbury-Hall shared a heartfelt message.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall pays tribute to Jamie Vardy after Leicester City exit confirmed
Leicester icon Jamie Vardy has officially confirmed he will leave Leicester at the end of the season, drawing emotional tributes from across the football world.
Among those to respond was former teammate Dewsbury-Hall, who shared a message on his Instagram story that read: “Grateful to share the pitch, the best.” The simple post reflected the respect and admiration many have for Vardy’s legacy.

Vardy remains one of the most iconic figures of the Premier League era, playing a pivotal role in Leicester’s fairytale title-winning season in 2016 and staying loyal to the club for 13 years.
While key figures from that historic side – including Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante – moved on to new challenges, The Englishman famously turned down a move to Arsenal and stayed with the Foxes, continuing to lead the line even this season, scoring seven goals.
Dewsbury-Hall shared the pitch with the veteran striker during Leicester’s Championship-winning campaign last season before leaving to Chelsea.
Chelsea weigh up Dewsbury-Hall future amid Premier League interest

While Vardy prepares to leave his long-time club, Dewsbury-Hall could also be on the move again following a frustrating spell at Chelsea.
Football Insider previously reported that during the January window, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown suggested Chelsea may consider lowering their valuation of Dewsbury-Hall after failing to offload him.
Both West Ham and Everton had expressed interest in Dewsbury-Hall earlier this year, but a potential loan switch didn’t appeal to Chelsea and no deal materialised.
It remains to be seen whether those clubs will return for the 26-year-old in the summer. For now, he’ll be focused on making the most of any remaining opportunities to contribute to Chelsea’s push for a Champions League spot.
