‘Kingsley Coman to join Premier League club after Bayern Munich latest’
Premier League scouts will have kept a close eye on Kingsley Coman’s performances for Bayern Munich at the Club World Cup.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson identified Coman as a player who could be on the move after his Club World Cup displays.
The 29-year-old scored twice and added an assist in Bayern‘s 10-0 rout of Auckland City and also set up Harry Kane’s opener in a 2-1 win over Boca Juniors, before their 2-0 loss to finalists PSG in the last eight.
Coman has often been linked with a Premier League switch down the years and was a target for Arsenal and Liverpool as recently as May, albeit both clubs have strengthened with different targets out wide.
However, Robinson told Football Insider that Coman’s uncertain future in Bavaria could open the door to a Premier League move after his Club World Cup exploits, with numerous teams on the hunt for wingers.
Arsenal previously led North London rivals Tottenham in the race to sign Coman this summer, and the ex-Spurs keeper told Football Insider that the Frenchman will be of interest to several other top-flight sides.

Premier League clubs pounce for Coman and Jhon Arias
Robinson previously told Football Insider on 4 July that Fluminense forward Jhon Arias had emerged as a target for Crystal Palace after his own Club World Cup displays, and Coman could be no different.
Speaking on the latest Inside Track, the 41-cap England keeper was asked which players had stood out to him as potential transfer targets as FIFA’s newly-revamped tournament comes to a close.
“There’s been a few”, Robinson told Football Insider.
“Jhon Arias, the Colombian, he’s a real player; can play on the left, on the right, down the middle. He’s 27, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some Premier League clubs go looking for him.
“A familiar name that we all know is Kingsley Coman – his future was in doubt before the tournament and it’s still up in the air.
“He’s used this tournament to put himself back into people’s thinking; he played four games, scored two goals and got two assists.
“So Kingsley Coman, a player who’s been linked to the Premier League numerous times – I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a name that pops up again.”

Arsenal unlikely to re-ignite Kingsley Coman interest
Arsenal were top of the list for Coman to make a Premier League move this summer and even held talks with the Frenchman’s representatives, but the Gunners’ transfer business is set to take them elsewhere.
The arrivals of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard have given Mikel Arteta a solid enough start to the window, but his choice of a new left winger has left Arsenal fans perplexed.
Noni Madueke looks set to sign from Chelsea in a £50million deal which will give Arsenal a much younger option on the left flank, but many a Gunners fan would have much rather seen Coman brought in at a fraction of the cost.
