Kingsley Coman: Tottenham transfer plan revealed – sources

Tottenham are not expected to make a late-window move for Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that links of Spurs targeting Coman are “wide of the mark” even though he has been offered to the club.

The 28-year-old left-winger has fallen down the pecking order at Bayern Munich and has been offered to a number of Premier League clubs.

Football Insider revealed that Arsenal are plotting a move to sign Coman on a season-long loan deal, but Bayern would require an obligation to buy after any loan period.

Ther German outfit are open to letting Coman leave before the transfer window closes, but a move to Spurs is seen as unrealistic.

Coman is currently under contract with the Bundesliga giants until 2027.

Tottenham are already well stocked in wingers without needing Kingsley Coman

Sources claim that Tottenham are already well-stocked in this position and therefore doesn’t need to sign Coman.

Spurs have recently signed Wilson Odobert and have brought Timo Werner back to the club on loan for this season.

The French international dealt with an injury-plagued campaign last season and only made 17 Bundesliga appearances because of that.

Vincent Kompany has preferred Serge Gnabry to Coman, which is why the club are open to letting him leave.

Coman has been used as a substitute in both of Bayern Munich’s games this season.
