'A number of options' - Rodgers confirms exciting deadline day for Celtic
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers that he has certain players in mind that he wants to sign for the club as he looks to have an exciting transfer deadline day.
The Hoops boss had made three signings in January so far – Marvin Compper, Lewis Morgan and Charly Musonda – and wants to bring in more players.
A new goalkeeper is top of the list following the knee injury suffered by Craig Gordon which will keep him out of action for three months.
“We’ve got a list, we know the people we want in” Rodgers said, as quoted by Sky Sports Scotland’s Twitter account.
“We’ll try and work towards that in the next 24 hours…there’s a number of options that we’re looking at”.

New Hoops signing Charly Musonda made his debut for the Bhoys in their 3-1 win over Hearts which moved them 14 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Football Insider verdict
Top of the list for players that Brendan Rodgers will be looking to bring in is a goalkeeper who will challenge Dorus de Vries, and perhaps a centre-back, so Dundee’s Jack Hendry will no doubt come into consideration once again. Things seem to have gone very quiet with regards to players departing the Scottish champions, as looks as if Moussa Dembele, despite all the speculation will be staying in Glasgow until the summer. If no other players leave and if Rodgers manages to add another one or two players to his squad both he and the supporters will be satisfied with the job done in the January transfer window.
