Kyle Bartley delivers Leeds verdict ahead of Sheffield Wednesday clash
By Dominic Toner
Kyle Bartley believes that Leeds will be expecting the three points when they face Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The Whites host Wednesday in the Championship as the two play-off chasers meet at Elland Road.
They are currently occupying fifth and sixth in the league table, with Leeds only higher on goal difference.
Both teams will be looking to assure their position in the play-off positions, with Norwich and Fulham the teams chasing them down.
Bartley claims that his side will approach the game against Wednesday in normal fashion and aiming to claim a crucial three points.

“We have said it all season long that our biggest game is our next game so that is our next game,” Bartley said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post. “We will prepare well in the week and go into that match wanting the three points and expecting the three points as well.”
Leeds recorded an impressive 2-0 victory against Wednesday in the previous meeting this season in August.
Garry Monk’s side will be looking to build on the 1-1 draw against Ipswich and will hope to continue their impressive form.
Meanwhile, Wednesday suffered a 2-1 defeat against Brentford on Tuesday and that ended their run of four consecutive league victories.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side have been one of the in-form teams in the division before their mid-week defeat and should pose a real test to the Whites.
