Kyle Bartley names Sheffield Wednesday dangerman ahead of Leeds showdown
By Dominic Toner
Leeds defender Kyle Bartley believes that his side will need to be particularly wary of Sheffield Wednesday forward Jordan Rhodes.
The two Yorkshire rivals meet on Saturday in the Championship as fifth plays sixth in the league, with Leeds only higher on goal difference.
Both teams will be keen to consolidate their position in the play-off places as Fulham and Norwich bid to overtake them.
Wednesday are likely to have their January loanee signing Rhodes spearheading the attack and he has a prolific record in England’s second-tier.
The 27-year-old has scored 92 goals in 194 appearances in the Championship during spells with Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Huddersfield and now Wednesday.

The Whites defender Bartley has identified Rhodes as the dangerman ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash.
“His goalscoring record speaks for itself, it’s a massive threat for them – but we have dealt with it before,” Bartley said, as quoted by Yorkshire Evening Post correspondent Lee Sobot on his personal Twitter account.

Leeds’ defence will be hoping they can stay strong at Elland Road as Rhodes adjust to life at his new side.
The striker has made five appearances for the Owls since his January arrival and scored his only goal so far in a 3-0 victory over Birmingham.
Wednesday have won four of their five matches with Rhodes in the side, but suffered a rare defeat in their last game at home to Brentford.
Bartley and centre-back partner Pontus Jansson will be tasked with dealing with Rhodes and that is set to be an interesting battle.
