Kyle Walker-Peters: Major West Ham update today – sources

West Ham have now pulled the plug on talks to sign Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, sources have told Football Insider.

The 27-year-old had been one of their right-back targets this summer after Ben Johnson quit to join Ipswich when his contract expired.

But negotiations between Walker-Peters and West Ham have now collapsed, ending any potential transfer.

Football Insider revealed that Southampton had told West Ham it would take £20million to make a deal happen for the right-back.

Walker-Peters is entering the final year of his Saints contract, making this summer Southampton’s final chance to cash in on him unless new terms are agreed.

West Ham are now pursuing Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Despite the Walker-Peters transfer falling through, the Hammers will continue pursuing a right-back this summer.

Sources claim that Man United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one of the main targets that the club will be pushing to sign.

Football Insider reported that the 20-time champions are willing to let him leave Old Trafford this summer if the right price is offered.
