‘Kyle Walker ruins Man City legacy’ – Fans explode at new AC Milan comments
Man City fans have reacted online to former captain Kyle Walker’s first press conference as an AC Milan player.
Walker, who recently joined the Italian giants on a short-term loan with an option to buy, requested to leave Pep Guardiola’s side earlier this month.
When Guardiola revealed the situation, it sparked anger among City supporters who branded him a disgrace, especially given the club’s struggles this season.
The situation escalated further after Walker’s comments during his unveiling in Milan and his first press conference.
He said: “Things at Manchester City wasn’t going too well. I wasn’t playing enough football as I wanted to do. So, a reason for me wanting to play football and play for this great club was to hopefully play a little bit more football than I was doing there and I want to win things” [Sky Sports via X].
