Kyle Walker breaks silence after betting suspended on him quitting Tottenham

Kyle Walker has wished his Tottenham teammate Danny Rose a “speedy recovery” following another injury blow for the left-back.
The club confirmed on their official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon that the club’s first-teamer will undergo surgery on his left knee.
The 26-year-old has been out of action since the end of January when he picked up an injury during the goalless draw against Sunderland.
There is the chance that Rose could now miss the start of the next campaign as his team prepares to move into Wembley for one season.
Walker has been strongly linked with a move away from Spurs in recent weeks but broke his social media silence to send his regards to his Spurs teammate after betting was suspended by bookmakers Sky Bet on Tuesday on the chances of him joining Manchester City.

Both Walker and Rose have been pivotal parts of Mauricio Pochettino’s success in recent seasons which has seen the Argentine guide the north London club to the Champions League.
They have both particularly flourished when Pochettino has opted to play two wing-backs as he secured the runners-up spot in the Premier League this term.
Not only that, it will be another season in the Champions League for Spurs, who finished in third place in 2015/16.
Rose has arguably been the most improved played under Pochettino since his arrival during the summer of 2014.
The England international has been a regular member of the first-team, playing 18 Premier League matches this season prior to his injury.
During those games, he scored two goals, supplied three assists and helped his team secure eight clean sheets.
Since Rose has been on the sidelines, Wales international Ben Davies has either played at full-back or wing-back for Pochettino.
In other Tottenham news, Martin Jol has stated that this Spurs player is one of the most gifted he has ever seen.
