
Kyogo Furuhashi sends ‘amazing’ Celtic message after confirmed news
Kyogo Furuhashi has sent an emotional message to the Celtic fans following the confirmed news that he has left the club.
The Scottish giants revealed that the 30-year-old has joined Ligue 1 side, Stade Rennais FC this week.
Celtic thanked the Japan international for his contributions to the club and labelled him an “icon” as he departs Parkhead.
The versatile forward left his mark during the years at the club, playing 165 times for throughout his tenure as he scored 85 goals and provided 19 assists.
The defending Scottish Premiership champions have brought a familiar face back to the club though in the form of Jota.
The Hoops revealed on Tuesday (27 January) that they have re-signed the 25-year-old for £8million just 18 months after his £25million departure.

Furuhashi took to Instagram to leave a message to Celtic supporters as he said, “Dear Celtic fans, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your unconditional support since I arrived in Scotland in 2021.
“In every training session and every match I tried with all my efforts to help this great club, and I hope that I helped create amazing memories for you as our team enjoyed great success together.
“I will never forget the Championships, the Old Firm victories, or playing at Celtic Park on Champions League nights, and I wish Celtic only the best as I start a new chapter in my career. From the bottom of my heart, thank you again for your support.”

Rogers is pushing for the team to continue pushing in the Champions League to go deep in the competition.
