“I think he is a very talented player but is also self-made,” Lampard told the Nissan Super Sunday Programme on Sky Sports One. “He has got the lot. I see everything, he seems a bit of a leader in the team.”
Kane enjoyed several loan spells in the lower leagues as a youngster before he broke into the first team.
The forward is now leading the line for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and is one of the most feared players in the Premier League.
Lampard also alluded to Kane’s influence in the dressing room and he has stepped in to captain the side this season when Hugo Lloris has been absent.
Several Spurs fans believe the England international can be a future full-time captain at White Hart Lane and it appears to be a role he would relish.
In other Tottenham news, Sol Campbell claims this player is destined for great things.
